Call for Papers
The Journal of Global Social and Behavioural Sciences is a semi-annual journal published twice a year, in May and November, with 8 to 10 papers published in each journal. The journal focuses on a wide range of topics such as sociology, cultural studies, anthropology, education, economics, psychology, public administration, etc., covering key topics such as "social and people's livelihood construction", "moderate economic diversification", "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area cooperation", "Sino-Portuguese culture", "development of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin" and "development strategy of the Macao SAR Government". At the same time, there are also new trends in academic research and a special column for tertiary students to promote the atmosphere of tertiary students participating in academic research. The main purpose of this journal is to encourage the research atmosphere of scholars and promote the development and exchange of academic research, and there is no Article Publishing Charges (APC).
Write a basic note
Manuscripts will be submitted to relevant scholars for review in the form of anonymous review, and no text revealing the identity of the author should appear in the text, and if necessary, please call it in the third person.
Manuscripts should be edited in MS Word or other compatible software, arranged horizontally, aligned on the left and right sides, spaced between single lines, and noted with page numbers in the footer.
Manuscript order: basic item page (including abstract and keywords), main text, appendix, bibliography. Each of the above items starts on a separate page.
The full text should contain the abstract page, the main text, and the references in order. If the manuscript is in Chinese or Portuguese, the English abstract page must be provided at the end of the manuscript.
Submission format
The maximum number of words in the manuscript is 7,000 words (including abstracts, documents, and figures). The English script is in 12-point Times New Roman font, and the Chinese script is in 12-point New Detail font, the full text should be anonymous, and the content of the manuscript should be arranged in the following order and principles:
Abstract page (600-800 words):
Write the title, abstract, and keywords of the paper in English. Please use Times New Roman 18 for the title of the paper, and the first letter must be capitalized except for articles and prepositions. For the full text of the abstract, please use Times New Roman 12 font, with the first line aligned to the left. The keywords font is the same as the abstract, the font is bold, please arrange it in alphabetical order. The composition of the abstract should include: research objectives, research methods, research results, and research conclusions. Please do not disclose any basic information about the author in the text.
Body formatting
The titles of each section in the text should be indicated in the order of each subheading. The English titles are in the order of "I, A, (A), 1, (1), a, (a)". The Chinese title is in the order of "壹、一、(一)、1、(1)」
The first line of each paragraph is two spaces before the first word, and modern standard symbols are used.
Double-line spacing, with a blank line between the title and the body.
Citations, Figures and References
Quotations in the text should be indicated in parentheses with the author and year. Both before and after the sentence can be used.

D.W. Chen (2025) pointed out that the main purpose of the Global Journal of Social and Behavioral Sciences is to encourage scholars' research culture and promote the development and exchange of academic research, and there is no publication fee (D.W. Chen, 2025).
